The CAFe Budapest Contemporary Art Festival – previously known as Budapest Autumn Festival – is one of the most important contemporary art events in the region. A sparkling, unique and diverse urban festival that works together with the most important cultural institutions in Budapest. The festival presents the most exciting and inspirational creators of the domestic and international cultural scene, their remarkable new initiatives and their latest creations. The event often appears  in unusual locations and public spaces.

This year, the CAFe Budapest Contemporary Art Festival will be held from 5 to 21 October, 2018.
During the 17 days of the festival you can enjoy programs from classical music to pop music and jazz concerts, dance and theater performances, as well as exhibitions. This year the festival focuses on the world famous Hungarian composer Béla Bartók’s  work in addition to the art of the Baltic states. The CaFe Budapest will host again the Budapest Ritmo World Music Festival, the Art Market Budapest and the Autumn Margin Literary Festival and Book Fair.

The main sites of the festival are: Palace of Arts, Academy of Music, BMC, Aquarium Club, A38, Várkert Bazaar, Pest Vigadó and Uránia National Film Theater.
