The Kempinski Hotel Corvinus Budapest is a five-star luxury hotel. The C-shaped hotel is located in the heart of the city, offering 316 rooms, 33 suites, 1.238 square meters of conference and event rooms, restaurants, bars, spa, beauty salon and shops. The Kempinski Hotel Corvinus opened in 1992, called Grand Hotel Corvinus Kempinski Budapest.
The hotel was named after King Matthias Corvinus. The Kempinski Hotel Corvinus has its own collection of contemporary Hungarian artworks, the Kempinski Gallery gives space to contemporary Hungarian artists.
Location: the hotel is located in the city center in the 5th district near Deak Square, the Danube, St. Stephen’s Basilica, the Chain Bridge and the Great Synagogue. Until 1990, when began the foundation works of the hotel, this area was encircled by construction barracks and concrete mixing plants, and later a car park was built here.
